India has a rapidly growing workforce, but as this workforce grows, many workers become unrecognized due to their lack of education. Construction and domestic workers have helped build India’s economy. The Recognized Prior Learning is an initiative aimed towards training unskilled or semi-skilled workers who go unrecognized. Pratham has developed this initiative for workers to enhance their skills and find education opportunities through alternative training methods. This initiative will help drive new opportunities for those in need while reducing inequalities in the workforce.
