Pratham offers a wide range of vocational skilling opportunities for those eligible. The programs that are currently available are Automotive, Beauty, Construction, Healthcare, Hospitality, Plumbing, and Tailoring. These programs offered by Pratham provide each individual a unique skillset for further development.

The Automotive Program was designed to bridge the gap between the industry’s requirements and supply in the market. The program aims to train youth to become automotive mechanics specializing in light and heavy motor vehicles.

The Beauty Program allows individuals to understand and further their knowledge in the Beauty Industry. Individuals have the opportunity to setup Beauty Centres across India to support themselves and their community.

The Construction Program was created in partnership with Larsen and Toubro (L&T) to help alleviate the shortage of skilled labor workers. Youth will have the opportunity to learn skills such as Bar bending, Formwork and Masonry.

The Healthcare Program was designed to help 2.5 million nurses to fulfil the government’s nurse-patient ratio goal. This course will help individuals grow their knowledge in the field of nursing and healthcare.

The Hospitality Program supports India’s hospitality and travel industry as it is growing at a rapid pace. Individuals will have the opportunity to take courses in Food & Beverage, Bakery, and Housekeeping to gain experience in the industry.

The Plumbing Program is a short 2-month course that teaches youth various skills such as installation of sanitary fixtures, fittings, and related piping. Individuals will have the opportunity to work on construction sites, maintenance and repairs across their community and provide beneficial guidance.

The Tailoring Program is a unique program created to provide individuals with multiple opportunities in tailoring and fashion. Individuals will learn different techniques of stitching, pattern making and cutting throughout this course.
